I’m a 2D layout and background artist based in Ottawa with over four years of industry experience. A proud graduate of Algonquin College’s Animation program, I am passionate about bringing stories to life through detailed and immersive visual environments.

From a young age, I knew I wanted a career in the arts but wasn’t sure what form it would take—until I discovered the world of animation. Realizing that creating cartoons could be a profession was a game-changer for me. I gravitated toward layout and background design because of my love for physically drawing and creating intricate details. My background in traditional realism drawing and painting has heavily influenced my artistic style and attention to detail.

When I’m not sketching or designing, you’ll likely find me exploring the world through film photography, delving into a good book, painting, or hiking.
